It's in the Bag 2021

Collections are open at your nearest Bunnings store from 19 to 28 November 2021.

If you would like to donate outside of collection time, you have two options:

  1. Mail your donation directly to us:
    Share the Dignity
    PO Box 345
    Sandgate QLD 4017
  2. Sponsor a bag through our website and we will pack it for you

In 2020, we were able to donate 93,981 #ItsInTheBag donations to women, girls and those who menstruate bringing our four-year total to 613,317 bag donations. The bags were made up of so much love and care from all who donated, filled with basic essentials, period products, and special gifts for people in need at Christmas time.

What's in the bag?

We collect three types of bag to ensure those in need receive the items best suited to them. The three types of bags we collect are outlined below.

In each bag, we ask that you fill it with the below-listed essentials. We then ask that if you can, you add some luxury items to make someone in need feel special at Christmas time. Items such as a water bottle, scrunchies, hair brush, skin care, or makeup- the choice is yours.

Download our #ItsInTheBag social tiles to share with your friends and use our checklist to ensure you have the essentials in your donation.

I have a bag/bags ready, but it is outside the campaign time

As a predominantly volunteer-based charity, Share the Dignity doesn't have the facilities, resources, or Shero-power to organise collections of It's in the Bag donations outside of the official campaign which runs at the end of November.

We ask, wherever possible, for you to hold onto your completed It's in the Bag donations until the campaign opens - we advertise the dates and locations for donations extensively across our website, social media channels, newsletter, and through our corporate partner network.

Waiting until this campaign is running means that we have the logistics and volunteers in place to best handle the donations, and they get to the women and girls who need them most, just in time for Christmas.

If you have missed the cut-off, please mail your generous donation to us at: PO Box 325, Sandgate, QLD.
