Host an #ItsInTheBag party
Bring together your friends, colleagues or community group to put together bags full of life's essentials to ensure no woman or girl goes without this Christmas.
What is It's in the Bag?
We collect three types of bags to ensure those in need receive the items best suited to them.
In each bag, we ask that you fill it with the essentials. You can then add some luxury items to make someone in need feel special at Christmas time. This could be a water bottle, scrunchies, hairbrush, skincare, or makeup - the choice is yours.
To add an extra touch, you can write a personal letter to the recipient to show they are loved and thought of this Christmas, along with a message of hope.
These bags can be dropped off at your local Bunnings store between 19-28 November 2021. You can plan your packing day to make sure they're all ready to be dropped off during this period.

It's in the Bag grew from a simple idea when our founder was cleaning out her bathroom cupboard to what is now a nationally beloved Christmas appeal.
In 2020, we were able to donate 93,981 #ItsInTheBag donations bringing our four-year total to 613,317 bag donations.
Unfortunately, the demand from our charity partners has also grown over the years with us seeing on average 160,000 bags requested. There are currently 3.24 million Australians living under the poverty line. That means that one in eight adults and one in six children are unable to care for their physical and emotional needs.
For some, they are skipping meals and rationing food. Some are skipping doctors’ appointments and medication, compromising their basic needs, going without period products every month.
"You made me feel valued and loved which is something I didn't believe I was worthy of. You proved me wrong and that is so right."
