I'm supporting Share the Dignity's #ItsInTheBag
This year Nambucca Valley Circles for Girls is supporting Share the Dignity's annual Christmas appeal It's in the Bag by hosting a special #ItsintheBag circle.
Each year Share the Dignity receives over 200,000 requests for It's in the Bags but typically receive 100,000 help women and girls who are fleeing DV or experiencing homelessness. Each bag is packed with love and care, including basic essentials, period products, and special gifts to bring comfort and dignity to someone in need over the Christmas season.
You and your daughter can help make a difference too! Book her spot to come along to our#ItsintheBag Circle and be part of this incredible effort, or if she can't make it, you can help by making a donation to Share the Dignity to help continue their amazing work. She can bring a ready-to-go bag filled with all the essentials or choose to give a $40 donation in lieu of the ticket cost and we will purchase and put together a bag for a teen girl in need. In the creative part of our circle the girls will have the chance to write a letter or note to a sister doing it tough and craft little gifts filled with love to pop into the bags.
Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products and essential items through #ItsintheBag donations to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.
