UVTHC Supporting Share the Dignity's #ItsInTheBag
This Holiday Season, the UVTHC is supporting Share the Dignity's annual appeal for It's in the Bag as a way to give back to the community. Ways you can support is providing items to create bags that I will drop off at Bunnings on the 30th of November. Or if you prefer..donate to the cause.
Each year Share the Dignity receives over 200,000 requests for "It's in the Bag" bags but typically only they are only able to help just over 100,000 women and girls who are fleeing DV or experiencing homelessness. Each bag is packed with love and care, including basic essentials, period products, and special gifts to bring comfort and dignity to someone in need over the Holiday season.
You can help make a difference too! Come along to a packing party and be part of this incredible effort, or if you can't make it, or you prefer, you can help by making a donation to Share the Dignity to help continue their amazing work.
Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products and essential items through #ItsintheBag donations to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.
