The Rotary Clubs of Canberra Sundowners and Tuggeranong are supporting Share the Dignity's #ItsInTheBag
The Rotary Clubs of Canberra Sundowners and Tuggeranong are proud to be joining forces to support Share the Dignity’s annual Christmas appeal It’s in the Bag.
On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, members from both Clubs will come together for a packing party to prepare 60 bags, each carefully filled with essentials, period products, and thoughtful gifts to help bring comfort and dignity to women and girls doing it tough at Christmas. Together, the two Clubs have also committed $2,000 each to help ensure this important cause reaches more people in need.
Every year, Share the Dignity receives more than 200,000 requests for It’s in the Bag donations. Sadly, only around half of these can be met. That’s why efforts like this packing party matter so much – to help women and girls who are fleeing domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, or simply facing hardship.
