Advocating for change

For more than a decade, Share the Dignity has been advocating for systemic change to ensure menstrual equity for all.

MENSTRUAL EQUITY IS MORE THAN ENDING PERIOD POVERTY

As well as removing barriers to accessing period products  we are also about ensuring menstrual education and eradicating the shame and stigma surrounding periods.

Through our initiatives we advocate for better health outcomes for women, girls and anyone who menstruates. What started initially as a desire to provide period products to those in need has grown to be an organisation that has worked hard to create meaningful change in Australia including:
ADVOCATING for better health outcomes.
FACILITATING access to period products.
GATHERING crucial data.
PROMOTING sustainable options.
CREATING educational resources.
