Let's work together to see period products in workplaces.

Providing period products in your workplace ensures a safe and supportive environment for your employees.

Help Share the Dignity on their journey to building bloody change and ensuring menstrual equity in Australia.

 Why should we

Build Bloody Change?

Our 2024 Bloody Big Survey found

$9.6 billion

is the total dollar figure we can attribute to missed work days due to periods.

56%  of respondents missed work due to their period.

64%  of menstruators have struggled to afford period products due to cost.

Those statistics might be alarming, but by providing period products, we can work to change this before the next Bloody Big Survey in 2027.

Your Workplace

Can Be the  Change

Workplaces can help create gender equity. Providing period products is a small cost to outlay but can help ensure dignity for employees, reduce absences and show employees the workplace cares about their wellbeing.

 Why  else should I
Build Bloody Change?
As of December 2025 provision of period products is recommended in Safe Work Australia’s Model Code of Practice: Managing the work environment and facilities.

A lack of access to essential sanitary products (period products) can directly impact a worker’s health and safety, potentially leading to unhygienic conditions, potential health complications, stress and other risks. In workplaces where access to personal period products may be limited (such as remote locations, during long or irregular work hours, or when there are limited opportunities to access personal belongings), it may be reasonably practicable for PCBUs to provide access to a range of period products for workers."
