I'm participating in Move4Dignity this year to make a difference!
I've set myself a fitness goal this year as part of Move4Dignity 2021. Every single day in October I will move my body for at least 20 minutes EVERY SINGLE DAY. This is a big step up from the zero exorcise I am doing currently. Bring it on!!!!!!!
Move4Dignity is a virtual fitness challenge that calls on Australians to set a fitness goal to achieve through the month of October.
As part of my challenge, I am raising funds to help those in need. Did you know that women and girls across Australia are using toilet paper, socks, newspaper and sometimes even worse, nothing to manage their periods. This is not okay, and we can make a change for these women and girls.
Please support me any way that you can and let's together play our part in helping end period poverty.
Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.
When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
Each year they assist those in need by providing free period products and bags filled with life's essentials. To date Share the Dignity has donated over 3 million period products.
