My target 120 kms
I'm participating in Move4Dignity this year to make a difference!
I've set myself a fitness goal this year as part of Move4Dignity 2021. Move4Dignity is a virtual fitness challenge that calls on Australians to set a fitness goal to achieve through the month of October.
As part of my challenge, I am raising funds to help those in need. Did you know that women and girls across Australia are using toilet paper, socks, newspaper and sometimes even worse, nothing to manage their periods. This is not okay, and we can make a change for these women and girls.
Please support me any way that you can and let's together play our part in helping end period poverty.
Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.
When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
Each year they assist those in need by providing free period products and bags filled with life's essentials. To date Share the Dignity has donated over 3 million period products.

Increased Fundraising Goal
Increasing my goalWednesday 20th Oct With 11 days to go and only 22km to go, (average of 2k/day) I've decided to increase my goal from 100km in October to 120km in October. It means I have 42k left to do and an average of 3.8km a day. So far the challenge of 100km in October hasn't been challenging enough so I'm adjusting my goal to create that push and drive to get out and move more. Share
Count down to October!Monday 27th Sep In September I made myself a goal to walk 300,000 steps in 30 days, just a few days away from finishing September and a few thousand steps away from at least coming very close to my goal I have set my sights on this new fitness goal for October! 100km! In September for reference I've completed 122km and I'm lowering the bar for October as life happens as I found out earlier in the month with the hospitalisation of my husband and the days that followed my fitness goal took a back step. So a lower goal in October accomodations the uncertainty of life while still providing a fantastic challenge!! Share
