Move4Dignity 2021 - Duration Based

My Activity Tracking

My target 60 Hours

I'm participating in Move4Dignity this year to make a difference!

I've set myself a fitness goal this year as part of Move4Dignity 2021. Move4Dignity is a virtual fitness challenge that calls on Australian's to set a fitness goal to achieve through the month of October.

As part of my challenge, I am raising funds to help those in need. Did you know that women and girls across Australia are using toilet paper, socks, newspaper and sometimes even worse, nothing to manage their periods. This is not okay, and we can make a change for these women and girls.

Please support me any way that you can and let's together play our part in helping end period poverty.

Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.

When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

Each year they assist those in need by providing free period products and bags filled with life's essentials. To date Share the Dignity has donated over 3 million period products.

No social media? Lucky I have Suncorp.

Tuesday 12th Oct
For those who know me personally, I am constantly harping on about how much I love working at Suncorp Group. I'm always referring my friends, telling those around me to apply and I never shut up about how proud I am to work for a company that cares for the community, takes the time to support the 'little guys', their employees and those who need it most through initiatives, charity work and more.

However, never have I felt as proud as the moment when I saw this pop into my inbox. I can't lie when I say that trying to fundraise when you have no social media has been a challenge, but knowing that the company I spend my days working for is willing to have my back - is willing to support even the most specific of causes that don't often reach saturated media outlets is something that made my heart happy.

I've never been more proud of where I work. Thank you, Suncorp. #thankyou#charity #community #suncorp #suncorpgroup #sharethedignity#move4dignity

Gymming everyday

Wednesday 1st Sep
Even in the midst of the Steptember awareness, I am aiming to keep the momentum going for this. Move4Dignity is really important to me, as someone who grew up in poverty - this cause is close to my heart. I aim to gym at least 60-90 minutes a day, and walk 8.5k steps in total to try and help raise money for this amazing cause.

Thank you to my Sponsors
