I'm hosting a fundraiser for Share the Dignity
Hi, we're Elise and Bella and we're year 12 students at Heathfield High, South Australia. We chose to sponsor Share The Dignity for our Society and Culture social action task.
We're hosting a fundraiser to help women, girls and those who menstruate have free and dignified access to period products. All funds raised from our event will help provide free period products to those in need and give them the dignity they deserve when dealing with their periods.
We are setting up a donation box for students/faculty members to donate sanitary products for us to then donate back to this organisation.
Additionally, we are creating 3 bags, for a teen, adult, and mum/baby.
We aspire to help struggling individuals with access to hygiene and sanitary products.
Any support you can give towards our fundraiser will go along way, making a huge, life-changing difference to the lives of many.
About Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
