I'm supporting Share the Dignity this International Women's Day
This International Women's Day, I'm hosting a fundraiser to help women and girls in need across Australia. All funds raised from our event will help Share the Dignity provide free period products to those in need and give them the dignity they deserve when dealing with their period.
About Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

Three sleeps to go
Wednesday 5th Mar The day is quickly approaching. Three more sleeps until our IWD luncheon. And it just keeps on getting bigger.With three amazing guest speakers and prizes including a Holiday Haven voucher, a Visa voucher, wine, hair and beauty vouchers and products, hand-crafted woven and pottery bowls, an original water-colour painting, a dinner voucher, house and home vouchers, and so much more, plus a massive lucky dip, there are prizes for everyone.
Plus, four well-dressed people will win best outfit prizes.
It's beginning to be a reality and so very exciting. Can't wait!

It's Getting Closer
Friday 14th Feb Hi Friends!The 8th of March is getting closer and places are starting to fill up. It's wonderful to see both men and women supporting our cause.
As well as prizes for the best floral outfit, we have added a lucky dip, and, of course, there's the amazing raffle. The lastest donations are Nutrimetics and wine packages.
We're also thrilled to announce a second guest speaker, Dor Slinkard, who has many fascinating stories to tell about her life as a jillaroo, racing horse trainer and writer.
The cost is $55 for a two course meal, the chance to win wonderful prizes, and the opportunity to listen to our brilliant guest speakers.

Keep your calendar clear for March 8th!
Tuesday 4th FebAs many of you know, a group of us are raising money for International Women's Day, through Share the Dignity. You may have heard of them, they collect bags of essentials for women, teenagers, and babies, to be distributed around Australian women's refuges at Christmas. They also provide period products for the very many women and girls experiencing period poverty.
We are holding a luncheon on Saturday the 8th of March, 1 pm, at St Georges Basin Country Club. The guest speaker will be Senior Constable Paul Nancekivell, a highly decorated police officer and a Nowra Police Station Domestic Violence Officer. He will talk about his role and the local situation and then take questions.
So far we have several amazing prizes for the raffle, and for the best floral outfit of the day, and more to come. You could win meat from Wandandian to the value of $50, hairdressing from Sonia's Mobile Hairdressing $60, pampering from Symone's Avenue of Beauty $100, a voucher from Tilly Island TBA, a voucher from Peter and Eva Italian Restaurant TBA, and prizes from Choice Pharmacy TBA.
Cost and menu will be advised soon and we already have many people interested. Remember, there is an upper limit of 50 people, so it will be first in.
