Move4Dignity 2021 - Distance Based

My Activity Tracking

My target 50 kms

I'm participating in Move4Dignity this year to make a difference!

Move4Dignity is a virtual fitness challenge that calls on Australians to set a fitness goal to achieve through the month of October to raise awareness about period poverty in Australia.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am NOT a runner but I want to challenge myself therefore I have pledged to run at least 50kms across the month of October this year as part of Move4Dignity 2021.

As part of my challenge, I am raising funds to help those in need. Did you know that people who menstruate across Australia are using toilet paper, socks, newspaper and sometimes even worse, anything to manage their periods. This is not okay, and we can make a change for these people!  Periods shouldn't be a shameful topic, and period products are a necessity and not a luxury!

Please support me any way that you can and let's together play our part in helping end period poverty

Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.

When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

Each year they assist those in need by providing free period products and bags filled with life's essentials. To date Share the Dignity has donated over 3 million period products.
