Unimelb Swifties Society Lover Affair Gala x Share the Dignity
In the honour of hosting our third annual gala, the ‘A Lover Affair’, the Unimelb Swifties’ Society will be fundraising to help women, girls and those who menstruate, have free and dignified access to period products. All funds raised from our event will help provide free period products to those in need and give them the dignity they deserve when dealing with their periods.
Whilst we celebrate the Lover Album, we want to acknowledge the impact its lyricism has had on the world and people's lives. It is an era that symbolises empowerment, standing up for dignity and equality for all. Most importantly it has brought hope, joy and above all, daylight to so many.
About Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
