Donate today
and help a woman or girl in need
Through our two annual Dignity Drives in March and August, Share the Dignity collects donations of period products, and distributes them to our charity partners.
As we begin our first collection drive of 2023 and the cost of living crisis continues to impact our community, it is so important that we ensure we collect enough products to fullfil our charity requests.
Imagine your daughter, mother, sister, cousin, friend, or loved one, feeling so alone while experiencing a crisis.
Imagine them missing school and work because they have no period products. Embarrassed and nowhere to turn.
When someone is in crisis, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

Together, we can make a difference
When someone is in crisis, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
Tanya, a single mother in her thirties, was living in her car for eight months along with her four children. After falling behind in rent, they were evicted from their family home.
Life has been so difficult for Tanya, with the prices of rental properties so high that she and her family have been forced to live in their car, using public bathrooms to wash and BBQs in the park to cook a family meal. Tanya remains focused on ensuring the kids go to school and sacrificing everything to feed her children. She is doing her best to try and keep her family together.
Tanya would make do by cutting up large pads and taping them into her 13-year-old’s underwear to be able to deal with her first period because in her words her "last $5 was better spent on sausages and bread to feed her family".
We know Tanya is not alone in this, with 49,000 women in Australia facing homelessness every night.
This is a truly horrifying statistic, but it’s so much more than a number – it’s real people, it’s women we know. These people are our mothers, our aunties, our neighbours, and our sisters. They’ve been mistreated, abused, or left behind. In many cases, they are the victim of domestic or family violence with a shocking, 41 percent of people using homelessness services also seeking help for domestic and family violence.
Our Dignity Drives are so important as they help ensure that women, girls, and those who menstruate have free and dignified access to period products.
That is why we are on a mission to ensure that everyone is afforded the dignity in life that so many of us take for granted.
With 1 in 5 having to improvise on period products, your donation can give a woman hope and dignity in these incredibly difficult and scary times.

A donation of just $5
will help to provide a woman or girl experiencing homelessness through another period.
Register for a virtual collection page and help continue to end period poverty
We have created a virtual collection campaign to allow anyone the opportunity to continue to support our annual Dignity Drive and help those living in period poverty.
It's as simple as registering, set up your online page and sharing your link with your friends, family, work colleagues, school community and people in your network.
